2nd Diff. State Quarter Earns An MS69 Grade

I just bought a 2001(p) NC in PCGS-MS69 which was graded this week. This is the 2nd different state quarter to achieve the MS69 grade. Of course, there are -2- MS69 NY(p) quarters in existence as well bringing the total now to -3- PCGS-MS69 state quarters. For those following the contest on our board, the present tally on the Goodacre Dollar in PCGS-MS69 is now -6-. Wondercoin.

It must be flawless! Mitch, after looking at the coin, what is it that attracts the MS69 label on this one?

Pat: I haven't seen the coin yet, but I was told it is super clean and nice. I will tell you that I recently had the opportunity to review more than 100 PCGS-MS68 state quarters and I identified only -1- coin that had "claims" to the next highest grade imho. The next time we meet, perhaps I can show you a coin or two Wondercoin

Dang. I think that puts me out of the competition. I think my guess was three qtrs and five Goodies... Is there a prize for closest if nobody hits it??? What was the prize, again?
