James Spence authentication question

Do people in the industry pay the same money for Spence items as opposed to PSA/DNA? Is it close?

I have a game-used, 1955 Yankees team ball with Mantle on the sweet spot with Spence certification. Since I am only 30 miles away from Parsippany and I had some non-sports autographs to process, I went there.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Greg

Both JSA and PSA are the well-respected leaders, so you should be just fine with authentication from either one.....

I had to give him Jean Harlow and Boris Karloff autographs to do for a customer. Both were "secretarial copies."
  • JSA usually sells for a little than PSA. Not a ton less but typically less, especially autographed baseballs.

Since I have an autographed baseball, that might be a problem.
