Buyer says no card received, USPS shows delivered...what to do?

Luckily it's only a $7 card but not sure if there is anything I can do with USPS. Anyone know? The buyer has 208 positive feedbacks, although only 4 in the last six months including the one from me for this card.

I've run into that a few times, and upon receipt of the tracking info, they suddenly "find" the card.

Give the buyer the DC number and tell him to chat with his
mail carrier.
If he NEGs you, call EBAY and ask for some relief; might work,
might not.
....................
MANY buyers wanna have it both ways:
If the DC says "not delivered," they want their money back.
If the DC says "delivered," they want their money back.
...........
The one instance where USPS insurance benefits the buyer
is when the DC incorrectly says "delivered."
Many "private insurers" will not accept the filing of such a
claim. USPS will.
Something you could do is ask the buyer to wait two weeks, because usually it will show up within that time. The person who received the package will either drop it back into the mail or walk it over to a neighbor.
Good luck,

The best thing to do is call your Post Office where your driver runs their route from. That is what I did and they were working with me to try and figure out what happened, although ultimately I figured it out. I would do this as soon as possible because it is possible the carrier may remember something. I know one thing, from now on, anytime I get someone elses mail I am reporting it. I don't care if it is junk mail, I am reporting it.
I was lucky and got may package but it really upsets me that someone this incompetent is delivering my mail. Just in the last week and a half I had someone else get a piece of my mail, these two packages go to the wrong address, and I got two pieces of mail that were for someone else. All in a week and a half!
<< <i>I just recently had something like this happen as a buyer. My new mail carrier is terrible. So I had two packages that were supposed to be delivered on Wednesday and only one was put in my box. The other one said it was delivered but I didn't get it. I decided to go to the street next to ours and ask the people on that street with the same house # as ours if they got it. Sure enough they did, along with another package without delivery confirmation!

Vacation time, a lot of subs being used. A friend of mine had 4 wax boxes delivered to the wrong address, disappeared and no one knows where they are. Person at business where it was wrongly delivered doesn't know where it is? (ice cream restaurant) Post Office delivery guy said he delivered it to the wrong place. he remembers because it was the only package he had. Post office said he was sent out without any training. Unbelievable, my friend is out of his mind trying to get something done.

And insure everything you mail---if your package fails to get there or is damaged, the PO pays the price.
