OT: Fenway Park Field Box Seats

Has anyone spent some time at Fenway and can offer an opinion on the Field Box seats on the first base side? I'm taking my daughter to a game, and I want to be close so she can get a good look at players, and maybe do some autograph hunting way before the game - but it's SO SO hard finding information. She's 8 - but small, so I'm concerned about row pitch, etc...

I wrote up a blog post detailing my journey into this:

Check this link for Precise Seating at Fenway, which gives you a 3-D view of seats at Fenway.

Those seats are fantastic - super close to the field, and much closer than you can get at other stadiums. Looks like you've done a ton of research already so you know most of what's out there, but let me know if you have other specific questions!

Pre-game autos are tough at Fenway because there are so many seats close to the field -- lots of competition -- better bet is the player's entrance / exit.

Definitely do the Fenway tour nearest to game time -- we did it and they let us stay inside "unsupervised" after the tour -- we had open access of the whole park for a while.

Best area pre-game is right field -- lots of homers and you can see guys in the bullpen.

    Have fun,

I went to about 5 to 6 games a year as a kid in the mid to late 80's. I know a lot has changed at Fenway since then, but the field box seats have the best view and are on top of the field. As far as auto's go, I remember when kids would climb over seats to get a player. I'm sure it's worse today. I feel Fenway is the best park in the majors behind PNC. Have a great time

Some are angled a little funny, and you've got to have an average (or smaller) butt to get in an out of them - they are snug (as are the aisles). Best way to go anyway.
