Yzerman auto - legit?

This was in a big lot of autographed cards I won in some auction years ago - I looked at Ebay to see how it matches up. I'm not sure if real or not - any opinions?

Thanks

    Agreed.. looks ok.
  • It looks like it. Probably Real.
  • To me the Autographed hobby is so very risky and corrupt. Unless obtained IN PERSON, my feeling is that a very high percentage of autographs are fakes or auto pens.
Its my personal opinion that even PSA/DNA and other third party grading companies offer little more than an educated guess as to many of the autographs they grade.
Its just another way they fleece hobbists into a false sense of security.

I suspect it is an autopen as many of the TTM autos are.

You're right. Its fake. Statman, please pm me. I'll send you my address so you can send it to me free of charge because why would you want this p.o.s. in your collection?

Living in a Detroit suburb, and seeing as how Yzerman is my favorite player, and how I have obtained many auto's in person from him over the years, I'd be happy to provide you (Statman) examples of cards I've had signed. I'm away on vaca for a few more days, but I can send you some examples next week for your comparison if you want. I'll reiterate that I'm pretty sure it's real. But I'll take it either way if you don't want it.

It's real. I was the biggest Yzerman collector south of Michigan in those days and I have several TTM sigs of his. They all look like that one.
