Any REAL Experiences as this relates to E-Bay/Paypal !!!

Morning,
Disclaimer: If you are one of the Rah Rah E-Bay/Paypal Cheerleaders who has a problem with Off E-Bay deals....Keep it to yourself....We've heard it and are NOT Interested, Go find another thread!!
Thank You!!
For the Rest of us (98%).
Always hearing Horror Stories about E-bay finding out you are doing Off E-Bay Deals with stuff listed. Does anybody have any real experiences with a scenarios such as this or situation that is similar? Or are they just scare tactics??? Or am I just getting paranoid from doing this 2-3 times a week????
(Hypothetical) E-Bay Email:
Dear E-Bay User GeorgeoftheJungle:
This morning you contacted E-Bay user: PrettySmellyKitty and asked here to contact you directly and disguised your E-Mail address in the E-Mail that went through our system. Previously E-Bay user: PrettySmellyKitty had made an offer on your listing #@#@#@#@# but it was automatically turned down, as it was below the minimum for acceptance. Within the next two hours of you sending the E-mail to PrettySmellyKitty you ended your item ##@#@#@#@# and then PrettySmellyKitty sent you $300 through Paypal as a Gift, which was just below your acceptance level for item #@#@#@#@#
E-Bay feels that this is not all just a coincidence and that you are doing Off E-Bay transactions which is against our Policy.....Because of this you are__________________!!
Anybody had any REAL experience of Being Caught???????????????????
YeeHah
Thanks
Neil

Saw this on Jeopardy recently.
What is "screwed"?
didn't you already have all of your eBay listings removed once for policy violations and were suspended from eBay?
<< <i>I have done a lot of Ebay deals and have never seen a message like that. And I have done some where they have offered on an item and then we decide to do it off-Ebay. Did this come from Ebay or are you doubting it's authenticity? >>
Hypothetical!!!!!!!!!
Asking if anybody had ever seen anything from E-Bay along these lines!!!
Neil
<< <i>I hope you don't screw PrettySmellyKitty. >>
Was waiting for that one!!!!!!!!!

The wording of the alleged message is more than a bit suspect,
but the notion that EBAY takes action against folks who "steal
EBAY's customers" is certainly true.
The falsely-justified/greed-born nature of EBAY's position notwithstanding,
the venue is theirs and they may/can/will/do take action against both tunas
and dolphins.
............
DISCLAIMER: I don't oppose jacking EBAY's customers because it
is corrupt/dishonest/petty - tho it is all of those things. I oppose
the jacking because the potential consequences FAR outweigh the
perceived benefits of the conduct.
As vile as the Evil Empire is to deal with, dealing without them is
currently a virtual impossibility.
