Rack Pack Question - 77 topps football

I just received a rack pack of 77 topps football. I opened one of the sleeves and the cards were turned front/back in 2 areas. Is this normal for a rack pack? I've seen them turned upside or the entire sleeve backwards, but never in the middle, and in 2 separate areas. Just curious from you 77 rack pack professionals out there if this is normal. This was NOT purchased from BBCE.

Thanks,

David (LD_Ferg)

It is common in wax and cello packs, not so much in racks, though, at least in my experience (though every now and then you will see the back of a card facing out in the sleeve. Are the cards pack fresh? Any indications of heating/resealing signs on top or bottom of the sleeves? Did you buy this rack from tbine on ebay?

it was not tbine. I can't really tell what to look for on the rack pack. one of the sleeves does have a scratch on it, but that could be from handling. i doubt there is a 9 in the rack (odd as well). from looking at the sleeves, i can't tell any type of resealing or heat.

i'll keep this rack and compare it to the one coming from BBCE later this week.

    Thanks,

Centering issues aside, if the rack doesn't have any cards that would otherwise grade Mint 9, I'd be very skeptical...racks are usually the best source for sharp cards (if not always well-centered cards).
