Have high grade Roger Clemens cards been affected by all of the legal issues?

i picked this up for less then $120



ive always wanted to own this card, but it was always more then i wanted to spend. centered copies are hard to find in PSA 9 slabs.

I don't think this card has been affected too much. The Puckett didn't take off even though he made the hall. This was supposed to be such a rare set, but there seems to be plenty out there. Last 4 Puckett PSA 10's went for around $400.00 each.

Clemens cards have absolutely tanked since the steroid allegations began. His PSA 10 1985 Fleer sold for as much as $5,000 and the PSA 9 Mint sold for $150 all day.

The 1985 Topps Tiffany in PSA 9 sold for as much as $299 and you can now get one for like $50 bucks. I unfortunately have some nice Clemens cards and have watched them decline 70 to 80%. Thankfully I was not to heavy into graded cards yet and did not buy any of the big dollar cards but still lost on a percentage basis pretty heavy on a few.

I do not see any real chance of recovery either as his cards are acting just like Barry Bonds cards have. A few will still sell for a decent amount the rest are pure garbage.

Thanks for the replies. I have a chance to buy a few of his higher graded cards for relatively cheap and just wondered if it is really worth it or not.
