If only you were a few days sooner. I just threw out a bunch of gum from 1955. It smelled like medicine.

I just got a complete piece from a '75 pack I opened. I didn't try that one, but I did chew (or tried to) a few pieces from a box of 1990 Topps I recently opened.

A couple of years ago at the National a buddy of mine opened a 1975 Topps baseball mini pack. I tried the gum and it basically turned to powder in my mouth and tasted pretty awful. I have been fine since then except for the fact that now I find myself using a lot of baby powder and liking beets.
