Pujols back already?

MLB Network is reporting that Albert Pujols will be back on the field on Monday night. That is amazingly soon! I'm guessing that the Cardinals' record since his absence must have something to do with this.

I'm not surprised for two reasons - one is what many suspected he has been doing for years, and two, he is a free agent next season, and needs to put up respectable numbers this year to prove he is still worth $30m/season (or whatever ridiculously expensive price tag he'll command).

    Juiced...

Kinda shocked he didn't make that All-Star game! You would think his fan base alone would have put him there, regardless of his sub-par season.

Fans are smarter than that. Take this year, for example, where they were wise enough not to vote Jeter in as the starting SS for the AL. Oh wait....
  • saw Albert in recent batting practice - with out riods , he sure is a hunk of muscle !
