Fake Babe Ruth in Fake PSA slab?

Babe Ruth PSA 5?

You be the judge. When I questioned the seller about it here's the repsonse I got:

"LOL!!! You clearly have absolutely no idea what you are talking about! You should definitely get in touch with PSA directly and advise them that they are encapsulating and selling "FAKE" items to their multi-millionaire clients who they have dealt with for nearly 20 years! That information, coupled with your obvious envy of an item you will clearly never afford is beyond hilarious! LOL!!!"

"LOL! LOL! LOL! LOL! LOL!

You poor, worthless dolt. You clearly have some sort of TERRIBLE LEARNING DISABILITY AND/OR MENTAL ILLNESS, considering the card came directly from PSA themselves and its serial number is very clearly registered in their database 'tard!"

He's since ended the auction. Too bad, because I was hoping to snag it and keep it in the glove box of my Targa.

  • Stolen scan from the 12/2/10 Huggins and Scott auction. At the bottom, he's airbrushed out the Huggins and Scott watermark.
Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all "right-thinking" people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as “bad luck.”

The scan may have been stolen, but I don't see the problem with the card or the holder. That's an early PSA holder, I have several just like it. There's a thread floating around somewhere that shows examples of the PSA holder through the years, it may be working checking out.

Stolen scans, as far as I am concerned, have NEVER turned out good for the buyer. Couple that with a zero feedback seller, and you are basically paying $5,000 for a box of air. Pass.

why would you say thats a fake card in a fake holder? And you dont mention why you think that, no facts.

The card is 100% authentic and easily seen as authentic with not a single red flag....

Doesnt mean he owns the card, but the card in the scan is real...

The font looked off to me, like those 'cragslist' fakes that have been circulating. I guess I was wrong.

You might be wrong, but I don't think so. It looks like there was some air brushing going on as previously mentioned.
