What matter is there were five bidders at the top of the range.

There are a lot of cards starting to move up in price.
  • BrickBrick Posts: 4,999 ✭✭✭✭✭
That's a really nice well centered card. Seems a couple of bidders set snipes to be sure they won. Both wrong. I've been working on that set for quite some time. The run of the mill high pop commons are selling for a lot less than they had previously. I still need about 70 cards to complete my set. The prices on the cards I still need have not dropped much in price and some are still increasing. Fortunately I already have that one.

I've broker just entered this forum for selling my childhood collection. You seem to me on first impression to be
quite knowledgable in card endeavors, recently contacted about wholesale composite sale of entire Card
collection. Person Posed as 10% broker for ultimate CEO Minneapolis MegaCollector, not for resale.
This so-called Broker of course intimated he buys above what others might offer 40% of Beckett VG range.
never over 25cent per common. Is that worth consideration, example 1964 Topps have 577 of 587 set complete.
No major star cards missing, inventory of 241 common extras, condition varied ungraded, I'd estimate
90% in Ex-VGplus range. If you'd like to talk call me Randy at 706-352-7051. Prized collection want to
insure not tasken advantage of in selling, do have even more 1963 similar commons? If interested?
    Thank You

The last 9 went for $127.50 a few years ago. If I had that card, I believe I would list it now.

The pi$$ poor spelling/grammar gives 'em away every time.

I would certainly not tasken advantage of someone selling their childhood collection to be able to come to America for a better life, however I simply don't have it in my budget since the major "Bridge deal" I completed last year slowed my cash flow until the tolls start to roll in.

There are certain other cards that are finally starting to reflect their true values relative to their difficulty in obtaining them.
    Ron Burgundy

    Buying Vintage, all sports.
Buying Woody Hayes, Les Horvath, Vic Janowicz, and Jesse Owens autographed items

Well, we didn't come to an agreement on baseball cards, but he offered me something much more profitable!
A friend of his is an African prince who is wrongly imprisoned in Ivory Coast. I wired him $1,000 so he can use it to bribe the jailers and once his friend is released, I will be richly rewarded for my assistance! Now I just have to sit back and wait image

    Good one Ralph.
    Good for you.
  • Whats the matter Probie? Are you disappointed that you didnt win the 60 Morgan so that you could send it out "West" to bump it?
Did you really think you would win it for under 100.00???

Your name matches my attitude towards an idiot like you...

He's posted several cards like this (2-4x vcp average).... It is nice and demonstrates to members that some cards are raising in price and the hobby is not in fact dying.
  • No Shaun ...Im actually one of good guys in the hobby that loves cards in their "pure" form...the way they should be. I will give Probie credit for describing and accurately grading his cards on ebay(which is something you should try).

You should look up what 'akmed' means before you start getting all righteous.

He's taking a stab at Rick, I am assuming referring to how people think he gets some 7's and 8's bumped to 9's...

And I'm pretty sure I spell my name right for you when I make a post.
