I just got my submission back yesterday. Got a 45 day turnaround time in 5 days. That was amazing. Couldn't believe they popped that soon.

Disappointed with the 67 Topps football. Each card had one bad corner, but I didn't think that would knock them down to a 5. I should have looked at the 78 Blyleven more closely. The reason it got a 4 was because I missed the typically 78 spider creases. Rest of the card looked pretty solid.

Biggest WTH is the 79 Topps Stargell. I thought the card was on par with the Morgan and Garvey (that got 8s), but I can't see the reason why. It does have some minor print spots, but nothing awful. The "Pirates" banner on the front isn't super dark, but I'm still stumped.

1979 Topps Ozzie Newsome RC 8.5 was the best of the submission. Very disappointed on the N6 with the Dickerson. I thought that card had a good shot at a 8-9.

The 71 Topps baseball cards will be a decent addition to my set.

Also, is anyone having problems accessing the Population reports and the SMR report? I can't seem to access either.

Those unhappy surprises that come back as a 5 are almost always a very faint surface wrinkle that you don't see before you send it in.....

I have had four PSA 5's that were dead mint with a surface wrinkle. You may be able to sell that for a decent price to someone who wants a card with tremendous eye appeal and a tiny barely seen wrinkle.

It took me 20 minutes to find it on one of the cards so in most cases you can barely see it.

That 79 Stargell is tough. Even with the printing in the banner, should be better than a 5. Must have some spiders on the surface.

All of the 81's are on eBay right now.

Turns out the 8.5 Newsome RC is a pop 1.
