So we have confirmation that if we gather together 100 Packs we can get them graded for just $10 per pack versus the normal $14. This will be for packs from 1970 to present.
I will be organizing it, but want to finish this group rip first. More details to follow.
Thanks,

I've subbed a few thousand cards, but never packs. They have to go to PSA before heading to Steve at BBCE.
I will be ready to submit mine next week after I receive packs from this box break.
Let's make sure we have enough interest, and then I'll put out details etc.
As far as references, I talk with Rick Probstein weekly and have sent him 13 or 14 different shipments of cards since February to sell for me. I've seen all issues the past few years with group card subs. The only one I took part in was a couple years back with Gumbyfan. That one went great, and would do another if he was running it. I don't mind sharing whatever info you may want to feel secure.
I've had a lot more time on my hands especially since I having been working from home, and have been increasing my buying and selling of cards.
My wife Michelle has stage 4 metastatic breast cancer to the bone. She was diagnosed in April of 2008 and keeps fighting every day. It is the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with. So being home I can care for her and my 3 children, and not have it all done by our part time nanny or my mother.
My plan is to get this cardboard to replace my income, so if and when there is a life altering situation with my wife, my children have me there, and financially we will have no worries, whether I'm working or not. I am currently a 40 percent owner of a retirement planning corporation, and serve as VP and branch manager of our Charleston office. I was born in Waltham Mass, and moved to NH when I was 7. Lived there 20 years, and have lived in SC for 6 years in August.
I was born in 77, so I have a few dozen packs from different rips on here. This Box break going on now is pretty much done, and I enjoy doing them, this being my third in 4 months. It keeps me busy, helps build relationships, and knowledge.
So I could go on and in, but if you need anything specific to feel comfortable please let me know.
Thanks,
Mike

I'm going to find out if we could all fill out our own submissions with packs on them. So I get yours here, you've already wrapped them good, and your submission form is filled out b
I can fill out my own, and then one master submission with everyones packs on it. Once we know who is doing it, nendee we call you number 1, I'm number 2, etc. Everyone would need to right their number on the outside of you wrapped packs.
So we pack up 10 of 15 different wrapped packs with a number on the outside. To separate who's are who's.
The sub form will show 1 of 15, 2 of 15 so forth and so on. I need to make sure they will accept that.
If they don't, then when your packs come come here, I will catalogue them 1 by 1. Wrap each pack and put a sticker on the outside. So Nendee you have packs 1 through 5, I have 6 through 30, etc etc.
I will fond out from Steve and contact Joe to find out the best way. But if all they need is 100 packs, they shouldn't care if there are 10 or 15 different orders.

Just send you a PM about the my conversation with Joe and setting this up as previously discussed. I'm good for 8 packs in the sub.
Thanks!

I have 5 packs already pulled aside to be graded and I can add at least another 5 to that. Let us know if Joe and PSA had any additional guidance. Thanks for getting this rolling Mike.

I don't want to do much more than 100. Artistlost made contact with Joe Orlando for this rate. Even at 1,000 it's still $10 per card.
So do we keep this open for anyone or just those who have participated in the last 2 box breaks??? Just wondering what you thought. I don't care really, I just don't want to be dealing with 50 different packages. No offense.
I put a lot of time into the box breaks, and trust me I do it out of love, and will do the same for 100 packs or so.
Look for more info on Sunday eve.

79 wax pack.
77 cello (which one to choose!)
77 wax pack in a GAI holder that I would rather have in a PSA holder, so I think I am going to take it out.

Would like to get all packages in by Saturday the latest, separate them out, then out to PSA the following Monday. I want to keep it around 100 packs. I have at least 25 of that number.
Talk to you soon,
