I see nothing that gives him any justification to back out. He put in a $250 bid. He could have left it there. The other person bids 260, but he drops another bid with over 20 minutes left to win it. He didn't have to drop that last bid if he felt it was already too high. He was let off the hook when the other person bid $260, but he just had to drop another one. I think he got caught up in the bidding fever and then had buyers remorse after it was over. His fault, and he's a nimrod.
