Will PSA ever get into the rack pack/tray pack grading business?

Seems like a no-brainer. The trust in GAI's grading seems to be suspect anymore. Plus, their holders are too big. PSA could probably own the market in no time.

Very unlikely, IMO (although I'd like to see it). They'd have to design a completely different holder also, as the holders would weigh a ton if they used the same plastic they use for wax and cello packs. I just don't think the demand is there for rack pack grading.

1st thing PSA has to do is fix the wax pack holders. I see so many packs that are ruined from the gum tearing the wrappers in the holder

I've been holding on to 8 or 9 rack packs for the last 7 years waiting for PSA to start grading these. I hate to go with GAI as the first thought that people have with them is "altered".

    Don't see it happening, unfortunately.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

Not going to happen. Joe has stated this numerous times through the years.

or grade wax packs. Having said that, I don't see them doing this as it's too small a niche market.
