Now at year end I am at an average of 4.99 !!! and I have my eye on a couple of cards that will push me to over a 5 average real soon.
Included here are the upgraded scans I have done as I finished out the year

I started this set because I love hockey and in my thoughts the C55 Vezina card was the ultimate. So I figured why not do the entire set for its 100 year anniversary.
My expectations were to get mainly PSA 2' and 3's. I really didnt want to spend a fortune.

I want to give major thanks to Brian aka captainthreeputt for helping as he got into also working his own C55 set and we have both had a blast together chasing some great cards.
I will start with my pride and joy - my Holy Grail !! The 1911 C55 Rookie card of Georges Vezina.........enjoy - I sure have

What an accomplishment! That Vezina is spectacular. I've always liked the c55 design much better than any other pre-war issue. Congrats!

WOW JIM! What an accomplishment! That is one AWESOME looking set for cards that are 100 years old! Some of them look a lot better than the grade ... maybe the backs are not in great shape ... but I'd take those cards any day of the week!

Just looked up the VCP on the Vezina ... HOLY SH*T!

Very cool set!

Also, there is a complete set on ebay with a PSA 5 Vezina... However the sdcan of the Vezina is a PSA 4. Fishy?

Great job Jim. A great accomplishment for such a short period of time. I wish more sets were small like this so they could be easily displayed so we could actually enjoy more of our collections. Happy New Year!
