FS: 1926 WD & HO Wills Wonders of the Past

I have decided to sell my 1926 WD & HO Wills Wonders of the Past set. I am posting it on the CU board first for members. All cards are PSA graded 1/1, except for #35 Stonehedge which is 1/2. The one in the set is the highest graded. All cards can be viewed in the Registry Set. If you would like to see a closer scan, please do not hesitate to contact me. I'm asking $2000 / OBO.

Thanks for looking!

Shocked they haven't sold. Maybe because you can spend $30 for a complete set in the same Ex+ condition (what the Brits call VG) and then spend $300 to get them graded if that sounds like a reasonable investment.

Exactly.....................................and as a matter of fact you can get a MINT set for about $25 and then spend $300 for Grading, and still have a $25 dollar set, all nice and graded by PSA.

I understand the discussion about the price. The price was suggested from a British antique dealer from London, who had about 500 complete sets of early 1900 sets (included flags, Soldiers from around the world, dogs, birds, planes, ships, etc.) and noted that all the cards where 1/1 except for #35. I own a couple of more sets; and trust me, you will not buy a complete set and get all 50 cards that are NM or better for $25; to buy each individual card and "hope" for NM or better will cost more than $25. The set is for sell and I have no desire to try and put it on eBay as a set or singles ... make me an reasonable offer.
