Opinions needed on old auto cards..

In your opinion is it better to have:
1) psa/dna authentic
2) psa/dna auto grade
3) card grade psa/dna
4) card grade and auto grade (JSA, bgs)
for example a 1981 montana, 1978 dorsett, etc

Work hard and you will succeed!!

I used to own these and the only reason I had a grade with the Dorsett is because it was such a nice card. Most cards that are signed are not 8's or 9's - so, I prefer to have "Authentic" only instead of a PSA-6 or such. I have never been a fan of "Autograph Grades" either... but some people are and some items sell higher with high grades.

Personally I do different things for different cards.
The majority of my cards I do option 3 (it's important for me to know both the card and auto are legit). I will sometimes do option 2 if the card is in really bad shape or a newer card in PSA 5 type shape that has a strong auto. For example I just subbed some 1983 Topps Sandberg's with strong autographs.
