Can someone identify this old White Sox pin?

Does anyone know what this is? It is a little bigger than 1 inch around, and seems to be in good shape. This was found with some other team pins, Browns, Pirates, Phillies, etc. 1940's?? Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Also any advice on cleaning them?
