GAI Crossover Experience??

Hey guys...just wondering if anyone has had much experience with crossing over graded cards from GAI to PSA and what the results were? I know GAI has had all sorts of issues and I wouldn't trust them with packs, or auto certification, etc. but how accurate is their grading of basic raw cards? I'm not talking about super high end stuff that anyone would bother trimming or altering but late 70's commons that are GAI 10's so I'm wondering what are the chances these would crossover to a PSA 10? Sorry I don't have these in-hand so no scans can be provided but they certainly look sharp to my reasonably untrained eye.

Late 70s in PSA "10" could bring hundreds of dollars ... surely enough "incentive" for some lowlife to trim and/or alter.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
if you then go to option #2 and crack out, a large amount will come back as EOT..

Basically with the shipping cost I look at it as paying about 30 cents per card to have an "expert" pre-grade my cards so I know which ones stand the best chance at passing the PSA grading test. The question is, does GAI qualify as an "expert" in assigning grades to their cards (taking out any issues of alteration as these were all hand pulled)?
I know I'll get some grief for this but while I know the difference between an 8 and a 10, it's alot tougher for me to tell apart a 9 and a 10 and with modern commons it's a losing proposition to pay PSA $6 a card only to end up with all 9's. At least this way I have a "self-proclaimed" expert grading the cards for me so I can at least narrow down the ones I send into PSA.
So with all that being said...if GAI comes back and says 20/100 would be GAI 10's...any guesses as to how many of those would also garner the PSA 10 grade if I turn around and send them in?
Looking to BUY n332 1889 SF Hess cards and high grade cards from 19th century especially. "Once you have wrestled everything else in life is easy" Dan Gable

Yep, I have thought of that too!
