1977 - 1979 Topps Prices

I have been looking at the prices between the 1977, 1978, and 1979 sets lately and noticed the huge difference in prices; especially the HOFers. The cards were not produced in lower quanities and they appear to have about the same submission across the board. Any thoughts on why the differences in prices?

    Rookies

1979 Ozzie very popular and hard to get centered

1978 Murray very popular, another card hard to get centered

1977 dawson just made the hof a couple of years ago, so these cards were just not that hot until then

    Grading

    1978 ryan no 10's

    1978 murray 3 10's

1979 ozzie 2 10's?? I think, speaking of the cuff

1979 Rose no 10's, maybe 1, speaking of the cuff

    1979 1979 ryan 1 10

    Just my thoughts.image
