Anyone know the mintage on these coins?

    I do not believe any records exist- I do believe the mintage figures for these are lower than for William III Crowns with exception of 1697- Higher than the mintage for William & Mary Crowns as well as James II.

    That's a Scottish King on a 1697 Crown , with the Union of the crowns in 1603 James Vl King of Scots accended to the English throne thus one monarch for all.This was the house of Stuart who provided the first monarchy of the newly formed United Kingdom.Id probably classify it as a Scottish coin , or a British coin , but not an English coin. Wonder what Saor Alba thinks ?
