wish it had a clearer scan...so you could better tell if it had a chance to bump up to an 8.5 or 9.

Nice old holder, but the "distance pic" is usually used for a reason.... a bump would be huge though.

he has a 1976 Yount up for sale with worse centering...and that is graded a 9. Could be from the same group?

I think snow is as common as bad centering on this card; my PSA 8 has a bit.... if only we could see it image

The bull market in cards continues. People want hard assets and a PSA 8 George Brett will always be worth something.

Man - that thing is well over any recorded on VCP...amazing. I know you buy the card and not the slab, but that pic ain't good enough to me to pay that much over VCP hoping for a bump.
Looking for rare Randy Moss rookies and autos, as well as '97 PMG Red Football cards for my set.
  • You rarely see that particular card centered that well. Wish it were mine!

I'm an avid buyer of Brett's early cards ('75-'78 issues), and would def have bid higher than the winning bid on that one-- IF there was a better scan. I totally agree with what's been said here: distance scan just didn't sell it well.
  • How does this compare with say a Kellogg's PSA 8 Brett ?
