thinking about getting into football cards again

i don't know how it happened but i was just looking at football cards on ebay and it brought me right back to childhood

i was thinking about buying some sets.. did a *little* research, and here are the prices i came up with. i'd love to pick most of these up, how are these numbers for a guideline?

1970 150-220
1971 250
1972 150
1973 285
1974 ?
1975 150
1976 200

1978 80
1979 60-75
1980 40-50
1981 75-100
1982 50-75

The 1972 will cost you much more than $150. It has a very tough last series.

oh wow, yea that's a bigger set than i thought

i've been trying to find a solid price guide online but i can't seem to find what i'm looking for. http://footballcardspriceguide.com/ is good for singles (?), but set values would be nice. i'd rather not buy a membership to beckett either. can someone point me somewhere?

ebay completed listings is your best bet
