It's because of a U2 concert this weekend at Joe Robbie/Pro Player/Dolphins/Landshark/Sun Life Stadium. It was moved to Seattle but the Marlins are the home team.
I guess the owners are thinking like this: #1 - The Marlins are gone after this year, so no loyalty necessary on their part. #2 - Let's see ... 10,000 fans for a Marlins game or 75,000 fans (just guessing) for the concert ... which will bring us more money?
STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

@ Safeco Field
according to Mariner's site - they must have the stadiums reversed
<< <i>Makes sense now...and tomorrow's game says the same. So the Marlins lose those home games...wow. >>
Shows where the Marlins stand with the Sun Life Stadium people. They can't get into that new stadium fast enough!
