I should preface this by saying I know nil about modern baseball and don't collect it but I always end up buying some around this time of year when I get the itch but there's no new football worth getting.

Gonna start with the Topps Series 2 $10 thingy. Not sure what they call these but they come with a 72 card brick including 1 diamond giveaway.

I'm wondering what that red ruby card is - first I've heard of them. Must be a Target exclusive since I don't have one of those around here

Yeah, I think it is.

The Topps Town cards look pretty good in hand considering they are usually "throw away"cards. I thought the Paterson was something special when I saw it. The diamond refractor look of it is pretty wild.

After a short break for dinner, its time to finish up with the Bowman. This "three-pack" jobby includes a fourth pack of purple parallels. I've got the Cubs on TV, a cold beer by my side..all I need is Bryce to come visit.
