Worth Heading To The National If I'm Looking For 50's/60's Raw Cards??

The National is one state away this year and I have never been. Are there enough decent raw card dealers handling 50's and 60's to make it worth my time?

I sure hope so! That's why I'm going.
  • I'll be at booth #1033 with a nice hoard of vending, mostly 1958 and 1961 Topps, all pack fresh raw cards
    hope to see you...

Well I am working on 1954-65 Braves team sets so it sounds like a visit might be in order!

Rick, when I hear or see the word "hoard" I immediately think of you. You should trademark it!!! image

  • I have been to a few nationals and there is usually a lot of 50-60's raw, I would say easily more than any other show I have been too.

I believe the Cleveland show was pushed back to 2014. If I recall correctly it was moved back to Baltimore in 2012 due to scheduling conficts. But don't quote me on that.

I believe Probstein when he says "hoard". There may be some people lining up outside like it's Black Friday.

There are tons of raw 50s and 60s cards and tons of everything else. If you've never been to the National and have a chance to go, do it!

Always looking for Mantle cards such as Stahl Meyer, 1954 Dan Dee, 1959 Bazooka, 1960 Post, 1952 Star Cal Decal, 1952 Tip Top Bread Labels, 1953-54 Briggs Meat, and other Topps, Bowman, and oddball Mantles.
