It was a good week for my pile...
55 different AU/UNC dates from the 40's 50's & 60's - picked up for melt.
I found these little 5 gram pieces all at a small shop on the coast Monday.
And I picked up a few misc art bars for my album collection.

I get to play this week. Pawn shop pickup.
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
It is a "Sir Winston Churchill" 1-oz silver art bar. It was minted in 1972 by Silver Creations. I paid a total price of $38.91 for it today (spot silver was $34.32/oz at that time).
<< <i>Make sure it's 1 oz. 1970SA...it's not "hallmarked" being so. >>
Thanks for reminding me. I did weigh this silver art bar on my digital scale and the verdict is..........................................31.3 grams
It passed the weight test and it is indeed 1 troy oz. Slightly over 1 troy oz.
This silver art bar is also listed in the 4th edition Archie Kidd silver art bar price guide as a 1-oz silver art bar. I was not worried about it since I was somewhat familiar with Silver Creations silver art bars. Thanks again for reminding me.
It has a low serial number and its type is probably the first generation of Engelhard poured bars (company name at the top of bar).
