<< <i>Holy crap!! I live in spokane. What was Wayne doing there? >>
might have been there with his son, Trevor, whom the Cubs drafted last month. Spokane was playing Boise who are the Cubs' NW League Short Season club. Trevor hasn't signed yet so maybe the Gretzky family was there meeting with members of the Cubs brass.
<< <i>You can see the highstick scar on the botton pic

I guess you only play with a half shield then Patrick. I hope he got called for a major.
Last time I got high sticked in front of the net during a playoff game nobody saw it. I asked them what the hell they were looking at. Of course, I bandaged it up and played the rest of the game before going to the emergency room for stitches. Good thing I have a goate to hide all those scars. >>
The day I turned 18 I ripped my JOFA cage off and replaced it with the half-shield. I get hit in the face soooo many times playing defense...the one currently on my helmet is scuffed with puck and stick marks...
This high stick ended up being a major...like you I bandaged it up and went back out to play (scored a goal too, lol).

LOL, I had to change my last helmet because the idiot slashed me right by the ear flap and cracked the plastic where the strap attaches to the helmet. The new helmet is just starting to show its battle scars, but my Koho has marks all over the place. Or course, most of them are probably my fault. They don't compare me to Kenny Linseman for nothing although I say I'm more like Adam Graves.

<< <i>Kingbees, how was the show? Did he do alot of Beatles songs or did he stick to his solo work? Wish I could have gone to that show. >>
Hey Downtown1974...it was great. He did 23 Beatles songs and a few Wings and solo songs. I saw him twice before and he did over 20 Beatles songs a night in 2002 also. I wish I went to both shows but only went to the first night. Billy Joel came out for the second night.
I posted the me with the space rocket I bought image not long ago. I think that is the only one I have on my harddrive. But I found a few others in google photos on other people's website.
Here I am in the middle of some other volunteers, raising money for the Greensburg tornado. Despite getting in a fight with a fellow dealer, and having it out in the newspapers, we managed to raise about $15000...which isnt bad from a group of only about 300-400. I am in the middle in the yellow shirt. Last day of the Denver show....needed to shave.
The first person in the photo is Steve Arnold, who found the big meteorite in Greensburg...maybe you heard about?
Another photo of me, describing an upcoming prize. (Late in the night....8-9 drinks later.)
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards. Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

That's the best guess though he wasn't meeting with anybody during the game. He was just hanging out, drinking a beer, and signing for whoever happened to come by. He sat like 15 feet to my left. Stayed about half the game, went up into owner Bobby Brett's box (yeah, George's brother), and stayed there for awhile. Came back down for an inning or so and then left.
Believe me, it was a total "HOLY CRAP!" moment for me. I am a big-time fan and have been for well over 20 years. Other than meeting Stevie Y, Gretzky is as good as it gets for me.

Trevor signed late last night so I'm guessing this was the reason for Wayne's appearance.

Me and my wife Michelle in the Bahamas this past weekend. That place is fun but crazy prices on food and drinks.

I had a client today tell me the name of that place as their favorite place to stay in the Bahamas.
That place she said was really great!
