Gold can be tough to image because the light can really amplify otherwise harmless ticks, hits and marks. However, the three-cent piece is horrible.

no they are images taken from a lousy canon camera under fluorescent light, with coins inside dirty pvc holders. why do people continue to use these?

the inconsistancy of the lighting and color make it difficult but
yes, that 3c silver sure looks harshly cleaned with ezest or some
type acid bath.

I do not have experience in either series but I can say that the 3-center has seen better days, the scratches do it in.
