Grades in.

Just got this batch of grades in from across the street. I was glad to see that they were able to attribute both the 1814 Ga and 1813/2 Ga. I had high hopes for the 1777. Personally I was about 90% sure it would go MS61-62, but something held it back. 1765 was a total surprise and my first ever repaired coin bodybag.

Neat edge design, flower and square, instituted in Guadalajara in 1812 and only lasting just over a year into early 1813 before going back to colonial circle-and-square design.

Looks like a good submission overall. The 1812 piece is hands down the coolest piece posted by far. I love it.

    Thanks, all.

Brent, that's my favorite in the submission, as well. It's the most common in the series, but I'm glad I got my hands on it.

    Very nice.

Do you keep the cleaned/repaired coins?

Normally they'll get added to my registry sets until I can find replacements. Afterwards it's eBay.

1813/2 I am planning to keep, though.

Lovely coins. It is sometimes hard to tell a fault eg cleaned or repaired from pictures as it is in this case.

I have been looking at coin 008 for any evidence. I'm hard pushed to see any but I wonder if this is the spot that has been repaired?
