2 ebayers to NOT block

So I sold a few cards on ebay - 3 total, with 2 going to one buyer, and the third to the other. I pulled a really dumbass move and shipped the cards to the wrong buyers. Auctions were for $200 and $130 total, and the guy who incorrectly received the $200 card alerted me to the problem.

Not only did both buyers handle it gracefully, they both sent back the cards as promised. The guy with the more expensive card didn't hold it ransom or keep it for himself...he did the right thing! Got all the cards back today, and am sending to the correct buyer with some cash to cover the return shipping to me.

So props to ebayers 'mike$gail' and 'dk105' for being so great about my screwup...good to see some folks out are honest and have a little compassion for an honest mistake.

    Nice to hear.

Back in the old days of Ebay, I sold some Nascar die cast cars and did the same thing as you did. Not only were they cool about it, but they sent the correct cars to each other at their own expense.

  • I recently had a buyer not get a card, it had the dc number but was in postal world. It didn,t move for a month and I issued the refund. About three weeks later, I get a call at home stating he was the buyer of said card and wanted to mail me a check.

There are more honest people then scamers on eBay but we never hear about them
