Need some Info..

Guys, Im a paper guy but I have coins that I haven’t looked at in 30 years. Im making a list of what I have. Going to sell them soon. I know the late 1800 and Liberty $1 are collectable but what I need to know now is what Is the cut off date of Ike dollar, Kennedy ½’s,, Quarters. I don’t want to waste my time listing those if they can be put into circulation. Some I think are 70% others 40% silver ??? If its 40 then what date is that, so after that date there circulation coins right... Thanks for your help..

The kennedy 40% are from 1965-1970. Atm they are worth around $5.20 but you won't get that amount out of them. Might be lucky to get $4 for one. Almost everyone wants 90%, i.e., any silver coin before 1964. Your silver ikes are dates 1971-1974 and 1976. Both clad and silver ones were made those years so a simple check can see which ones you have. Those are 40% and go for roughly $11.20 but like the 40% halves, you won't be able to get that much. I'm sure there are a TON of varieties for all the different denominations out there, but this will give you a head start anyways.

    40% Kennedys were between 1965-1970.
90% silver coins prior to 1965.
40% Washington, Kennedy and Ike in proof and special uncirculated sets only in 1975-1976 ('76 dated) only.
70% silver coins were from Canada, IIRC.

Not really, just different varieties if you know any YN's filling a book. There are Type 1 and Type 2's. I never saw anyone paying a premium for them.
Have bought and sold on BST, many references available when asked.
