The biggest marker is that a cancerous piece of copper sold for $152.50!

Thats what its advertised as. If it is, then $150 was a steal. That is such a tough coin.

reverse doesn't match with the 1799's S-188, S-189, or NC-1 reverse. Not 1799 IMO

Mine ain't no beauty, and cost a helluva lot more than $150.....but it was verified as genuine by both Bob Grellman and Chris McAwley.....so it does have that going for it

My gut tellsme this isnt a 1799 but a 1805 LC. The impression that i get.

1799? Without attributing it, I'm guessing it's wishful thinking on the part of the seller.
