ericm394 gave me my first neutral in 12 years as he can't read, listing was for one sticker only, he want the other 3 stickers pictured too. JOhn

    Sorry to hear that. I see listings like that all the time and sometimes none of the pictures are for the item being sold. Maybe you should put that the auction is only for the one item in big bold blinking letters so they don't miss it.

    I've never sold anything on eBay. Does it effect any discounts you get? I hope not.

    I don't think it effects my seller discount until my DSR's fall below a certain level, which obviously his feedback doesn't help.

    I offered the dude a refund but he dinged me instead, twice. First ones ever and I've been on ebay since 1999.

    I agree with that, and for me, I never do that because of possible misunderstandings..."what you see is what you get" in the pic, in my viewpoint, is the best way to sell on ebay.

    More and more people are using Ebay through mobile devices which doesn't display the full listing easily. Pictures that don't match titles which then require the full description to be read to figure out what you're buying will cause you problems.

    But I still agree about blocking this buyer, and I did...the buyer should have simply asked for a refund.

    I don't think it is cutting corners in the least. Four Sharp Corners does this all the time and it is a smart business model. If I see a card that I want and there are four in the photo, I might see another one that I like. Then I am more likely to look through that seller's listings.

    Exactly right. I list sports cards usually by team. When a potential buyer sees one their interested in 3 more players from that team are shown. No where in the listing did I mention lot of stickers or even described or mention the other stickers.

    I did offer a refund but he dinged me twice instead. For the record he has 25 total transactions and wanted 4 1973 series 2 white back wacky stickers for a grand total of 50 cents, idiot didn't read the description, went by picture only.

    Going forward I will include the "you are bidding on the card mentioned in the title only" line. John

    IMV, it is prudent to routinely BBL any EBAYer who vends NEGs/Neuts.

    If you catch a few dolphins in the net, such is life. They can always contact
    you and discuss the matter if they wanna get unblocked.

    The instant buyer is not a serial negger, but I would still BBL him. Under
    the current EBAY scheme of "buyer protection," there is no need to NEG
    or Neut sellers UNLESS they are fraudsters/scammers/rudesters.

    The "learn how to read" - or any similar retort - is counterproductive. I
    understand the anger, but it turns off other "good buyers" when they
    read such responses. NO response should EVER be left in anger. ALL
    responses should be calm and professional. Keeping the "high ground"
    with a factual - passive aggressive - response is the ONLY way to go.
