I ordered some vintage packs from BBCE and here's what they sent me

When paying for my cello from the last '77 Topps group break, I added a four more older Topps cellos to my order (a '78 and three '83s). While my '77 showed no stars (and contained none either), here is what my other four packs had:
'78 cello front

'78 cello back

'83 cello backs

HOFers on the back of every pack!* And the '78 has a Ryan and a Yaz showing! I just wanted to commend BBCE, as these are usually the type of packs you pay a premium for. While I know an '83 Topps Reggie Jackson won't make anyone rich, but I still think it's pretty cool of them to not pull these and sell them separately. I bought all of these to open, but now I think I may not want to, especially the '78 pack. Thoughts?
* = Yes, I count Pete Rose as a HOFer, no matter what Cooperstown says.

2.5 is pretty much my speed.

Unless its a big rookie I would not pay a premium for 80's racks or cellos with stars showing on the back. The front, maybe.
Certain player collectors may.

That's why they sent them to you...so that that you'd keep them sealed, so that you'd have to buy more!
<< <i>Nice! I'd leave them sealed. The top and bottom cards usually have bad corners. >>
+1
Need some 2007 A&G Regular Back Mini's PM if you have any and I will send my needs list.
As everyone else can attest to, me included, BBCE and Steve are one of the best.

I am not going to open the '78. As many of you have said, 2 HOFers on an old pack is rare, so I'll keep it or slab it.
<< <i>I couldn't help it... I opened the '83s. >>
Don't worry, you aren't the first to succumb to the temptation...LOL. Glad it turned out good for you.
