What issue or series has had it's prices remain 'flat' for the longest?

Title is pretty self-explanatory.

Many coins and series have their prices come full circle over a given amount of time. Things rocket up, and fall back down to earth. There are coins that sell now for right about what they did a decade ago, but with violent changes in between. What has remained constant?

Seems to me proof walking liberties haven't really gone up or down in price (looking at auction records) in about 8 years. It makes sense, because I can't imagine there are too many people building a set of proof walkers. What has stagnated for the same amount of time?

I'll ask the inverse question as well: What coins or series now sell for exactly what they did 5,10, or even 20 years ago, with radical changes in between?

With PR Walking Liberties, I do not believe that there are any cameos or DCAM,

thus the collection is made up of coins that tend to all look exactly alike. Kinda

boring.


Also 80 - 95% of average to sub par commems, are flat to soft. Only the coins with

WOW FACTOR are continuing to bring the big bucks.There are not many of them and

you have to pay up to play in that area.

I think commems have been very flat. Matter fact you can get some coins today that would run you double the price 5 years ago.

Gold Commems have been flat for a very long time.

It is funny that even the price rise in gold

has not spurred interest in these beautiful coins.
