commem q: who was e. d. king from savannah, ga?

As I work through my swiatek and breen commem book pictures of original mailing envelopes keep popping up. Some as one of only five or so known. The name on these more often then not is E. D. King from Savannah, GA. My computer is unplugged right now so I can't look it up. Does anyone have any info they can share?

    This is one Edward King of Savannah that I found.

    Looks like that Edward King died in 1903, which is a little before the dates on the Commem postage.

    I'm checking with the Georgia Historical Society and will continue to dig for info on this during the summer.

    Also, I checked with Mr. Swiatek and back in 1980 he was told by Norman Stack that the person was a collector of commems. Outside of the that Mr. Swiatek didn't know anything else.

    Let the search begin.
