UPDATE--Lying falls within eBay's feedback policy

I sold a cheap card on my son's eBay account last month. About a week after I shipped it, I received a message saying quote "No card." I provided the tracking number and told the buyer to talk to his postal carrier. This week, he left me a negative saying "No card ???" as he did for another 7 sellers in the past week. Many sellers replied with their tracking numbers showing their items being delivered as well. Additionally, he left negatives in the past because he "can't pay for" the items that he won.
I called eBay and the person I spoke with said this was obviously abuse of feedback and they should be able to remove it.
Has anyone had a similar situation where they as the seller actually won with eBay? Is this actually going to happen, or was the customer service rep just trying to placate me?
By the way, if anyone wants to block this buyer, his username is austinisthekingaustin.

i have been extorted before. ebay will remove it. they act like they never receive the card and want some sort of compensation of they will leave a neg.
Just another pile of mentally-ill garbage that EBAY has allowed to
disrupt its venue.

So what is the good of delivery confirmation if a person can lie and say a card was never delivered when it was? Sure, I can keep the money, but I guess it is OK for the other person to lie and say it was never delivered. If there was somewhere else to sell cards, I would go there.

Doesn't surprise me.I used to only sell on there when I got doubles or something I didn't really want,then had a guy buy an Spx LeBron,said he didn't get it and it even showed it was delivered,they told him to send it back and they'd cancel the transaction.Guy sends me a bubble mailer,1st class,w/dc with folded carboard.Called ebay and was told that they couldn't do anything cause the tracking showed delivered.Haven't been back there since and won't go back.
So I feel your pain on this one.Sad thing is there's really no other alternative places to go cause ebay will just buy them out.

There is always Craigslist. The DC always wins. I am very surprised that they did not remove the neg. They removed mine when the same thing happened to me.

I'm blown away by this. How did the seller NOT fight those two negs? Even in eBay's skewed world, they would have to side with the seller, wouldn't they?

It is extremely low-risk to be a LYING THIEF, if you are a "buyer" on EBAY.
