Today's coin show

The 28th annual G.C.N.E. show started today but last evening they had a $40 four hour early bird browse.
The early bird browse was the same time as set up?
I walked into a room of empty tables and half set up display cases
with nothing stocked into them??? So I took my forty dollars and went home. Went back today and had a good browse meet a dealer who had a great selection of HTT's and civil war tokens.
I had a few coins that I was thinking of selling or trading
and showed them around and was promptly beat over the head
with the greysheet. The big thing I noticed is the lack of PQ coins
and anything that came close to that description was priced
so over the top I didn't even make any offers.
I have a couple of PQ graded coins I have been thinking about sending to auction I think I will go back tomorrow and shop them around see if anyone bites?

It seems a very small percentage of dealers are willing to pay up for quality coins. In some cases, I tell the dealer straight when showing coins, that they will not be priced according to sheet. Saves time in many instances.
All coins kept in bank vaults.

I expect to get lowballed and I never get insulted. I think there are some serious buyers that are looking for inventory to take to Baltimore? That was the buzz on the floor anyway?
I have no real expectations just testing the waters you never know
    unless you try.
