Clarification on PCGS Consensus Grading?
Hello folks,
I am quite possibly misunderstanding here, but as far as I understand PCGS grades in such a way that 2-3 graders initially grade a coin and must agree exactly with the assigned grade or it goes on to a Finalizer who assesses a final grade. Is this indeed the case? How exactly does this work with the new approach of "3 digit grading - 64.8 etc." I can't imagine that 3 graders would all assess a coin exactly 64.8? Or is that somehow possible?
