Ebay: Customer Service Call back!

Background information:
I listed some items on ebay (Jordan/russell/lebron etc autos), in my description I put that I had those and listed each in each particular auction, ebay considered that keyword spamming (I did not know this at the time). I called up wanting to fix what I did, and I was given incorrect information by the first representative which ended up in my listings being removed AGAIN and me being suspended. I called up several more times being hung up on multiple times being told supervisor's would call me which never did. I spoke to specialists who refused to send me to supervisors, and refused to send me transcripts of the phone call even after being asked many times. I eventually go to online look for better numbers to get native English speakers to hear my issue. I found a security guards number and gave him a call. He gave me the number of the President's office of ebay. When I did leave a message it stated clearly it was an internal line which did not help but I decided to leave a message anyway. I eventually just waited out the suspension and re-listed the items taking out what I now know was considered the "spam".


I just now got a call from "Schad Deesing", who after doing some digging, is from "Office of the President at eBay" (from his facebook). I couldn't be more pleased with this call, I recognized the number as it came in as from the office of the President of Ebay (the one I called a week ago). He spoke with me about the situation and eventually gave me $50 to spend on ebay for my troubles as well as removing the "strikes" from the suspension.


I know amongst all the terrible stories from ebay there is some good and just wanted to share this.

    Hey Sean,

    I know I would have been frustrated by that situation, but good for you not to give up. Glad you finally reached someone who was able to correct the situation and take the time to follow up with you.

    Keep that number and email handy so you can tell the next customer service rep who doesn't want to here about your problem that you could call the president's office if they'd like instead and to please spell their name for you...LOL.
