I saw that a bit earlier. I wouldn't bid on it, even with your money.

Other than the reverse pic being nonexistant, I don't think that there is anything wrong with it. The seller afterall is offering a 14 day return policy, which is longer than what most offer on ebay.

That auction bears some similarity to this one that I have been watching with suspicion. Same "no feedback history" Similar assurance and privileges, posted within 1 hour or each other. I had the same suspicion of the dollar..."hijacked account?" I don't know, but that is a helluva coin for a low feedback old feedback seller to sell with no reserve.

    1845 Dollar

Sorry...can't seem to get the link right. the 1845 Dollar is item number 170652160401

Mintage for the Chain Cent is just 36 examples and any surviving examples are notoriously rare.

    Really only 36 imageimage

I sent the seller a question 2 days ago, no response
I called eBay, they say the account is in good standing

The whole thing is suspicous. I don't believe anyone would sell a F-15 S-4 chain on eBay with one tiny crappy picture of the obverse and no reverse picture, with no reserve. It would be like throwing money away .

I once moved from Thialand to America in less time than that.
