PCGS got an overnight today with a neat submission

I recently paid stupid money for an original short set of Walkers in a Dansco album, put away in the 70's by a very picky collector. These were the best coins he could find over a 10 year period at Florida shows. I have been trying to buy this set for 4 years.

I finally got it and now it is in the hands of PCGS - a totally fresh short set most all with neat album toning and all original coins.

Grades to come.

    Sweet, i have a set of jefferson nickels that were put together like that. It IS always nice to come across a set that a collector spent a long time looking for the right coins. I would like to see pics.

    Realone- I think it is 20 coins from 1940-46?

    The set was 41-47, there was 2 41s and no 41 d.

    The coin should get help for being 100% original. One or 2 could come back 64 but most all were solid MS66 and 67.There is one I can see being a 68 and that would be very cool but I hear PCGS is just too tight so I am hoping for a nice mix of 65+ - 67's but a matched original set

    Even though it is album toning it would not surprise me to see some genuines for "questionnable color".
