If your collection had a slogan...
If your coin collection had a slogan what might it be?
Some popular advertising slogans off the top of my head:
The Relentless Pursuit of Perfection
Quality without Compromise
The Best or Nothing
On the quantity side perhaps:
Too Much Good Stuff
Low Prices are just the beginning
Always Low Prices, Always
Eclectic?
Reinvent Yourself
So think about it, choose one of the above or think of your own.

"Collecting one of each major and minor US type 1793-2000, and early quarters and halves by die variety"
Ok, so it's not trite or catchy, but it is accurate!

I dabble in far too many varieties, to have anything too extraordinary in any of them.

"Keep in mind that most of what passes as numismatic information is no more than tested opinion at best, and marketing blather at worst. However, I try to choose my words carefully, since I know that you guys are always watching." - Joe O'Connor

"I got what I for, or at least I tell myself that to stay sane"
of mostly world coins in unc and he favored scarce moderns. He was reputed to have just about one of
everything and bags of some things that are very difficult to locate. Alas he died back in the early '80's
and his massive collection/ hoard was dispersed. He was active in the days that none of the moderns
were even suspected of being scarce and bought almost anything that was uncirculated and not common.
I've never been able to even approach the magnitude or scarcity of his collection but I have put effort
into obtaining nice gems. I just used to look at lots of coins and kept as many gems as possible. So
I guess my theme or name might be Gem Junk.
