Does this 1905 have a misplaced date (photos inside)
Hi guys,
This is an edit of a post I put up earlier; I tried to change the question in the reply, but folks seemed to just be looking at the "1905" date, and honing in on whether the line through it was a die-crack vs. line of glue.
IGNORING the glue line through the date (we'll just call it a glue line), then, please note what appears to be a number (a 3????) on the top left of the last "S" of "States"- you'll see it in the final enlarged picture; it just looked/looks really "numerical" to me- are my eyes playing tricks?
Thanks for your patience, everyone!
