I picked this coin up for cheap, does having it slabbed really help its value? Or is it just a waste of cash. What do you think.

    Toning is very nice, but unfortunately on an AU example like this one, slabbing it would only be a waste of time and money.

    Still a nice coin!

    I agree. An AU coin just does not command the premium that UNC toners do.
    It's a nice looking morgan... I like the die cracks.

    I would put it in one of those hard plastic holder that says Morgan Dollar
    it looks nice in there. I have a few just like that one and I like'em.

    Thanks, I felt it was au as well. But didn't want to bias everyone else. I will give it to my little YN at home. She will love it.
