packing items

Does PSA really not accept cards that are shipped in top loaders? I have several larger card items that I want to send for grading, but I do not have card savers big enough for them. So, I am wondering if this is a strict rule that is followed, or just a cautionary suggestion due to their preference?

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has had experience sending in larger items in top loaders to PSA.

Thanks!

I have sent the larger size cabinet style cards in top loaders, and PSA took them. I believe they tell you that because it is harder to get them out of the holders and the card is more likely to get damaged upon extraction, but if they don't make a Card Saver that big, then they will take the sub with top loaders.
