Breen listed it as "very rare" (13-30 known).
The full entry in his book:

2935 1861 Obvious double date. Very rare.
    Numisma 24:73, 11/58.

Jack Beymer has one for sale:

    "1861/1861 Breen 2935,
    unlisted in Cherry Pickers
    Guide MS62................ 480.00"

Heritage had one in its 1998 June Long Beach Sale, but it was not sold:

"5595 1861 MS 63 NGC. A lovely, choice example of the Trime coinage, with startling iridescent blue, green, and purple on the periphery and brilliant centers. Through the wonderful toning (as has been the case on several other coins in this wonderful consignment) can be seen evidence of doubling in the date, as described in Breen-2935. Another coin that deserves the careful attention of specialists. Not Sold."

Thank you sir! I will have to take a picture. Date doesn't look doubled at all. It has a double star...
